Em visita à redação do Jornal Tribuna do Vale, os pré-candidatos a prefeito e vice, Valter Pereira (PT), e o médico Claudio Luiz (PT), falaram sobre seus planos para governar a cidade, caso sejam eleitos, sobre as carências, sobre suas vidas, e sobre os motivos que os levaram a encarar essa missão.
Para ambos, a vontade de administrar Santo Antônio já existia. O dois já disputaram o cargo em épocas diferentes.
Para Valter, a cidade, que hoje tem quase 50 mil habitantes, sustenta um orçamento aproximado de cerca de R$ 220 milhões /ano, uma renda per capita maior do que a de muitas cidades do mesmo porte do Estado de São Paulo, “porém, apesar de tantos atributos, precisa gerar empregos, o povo precisa trabalhar, ter renda, dignidade, segurança e saúde”, comentou.
“Quando cito a questão de empregos lembro que fui falar da empresa Yazaki do Brasil em Brasília, e ninguém sabia que existia uma planta dela aqui na cidade. Com ela, já deu para saber que o setor automotivo tem eco por aqui, e nos faz querer buscar mais desse segmento. Vamos apresentar projetos inovadores, com um quadro de funcionários na prefeitura de gente especializada, profissionais nos setores. Não dá para trabalhar só com técnicos. Tem que ter a parte política também, para saber os caminhos que devem ser percorridos e dessa forma, conquistar o que nos é de direito”, disse
Deixando a palavra para seu pré-candidato a vice, Valter salientou necessidades fortes para melhorias da saúde.
Para o pré-candidato a vice, doutor Claudio Luiz, o setor precisa trabalhar bem o público e o privado juntos. “Temos um SUS que funciona bem, que dá o estofo necessário para maior parte dos atendimentos e temos o privado, que é de primeiro mundo. Precisamos de planejamento, gestão e de humanização no atendimento. Desde nas UBSs até nos mais altos cargos. Hoje podemos dizer que Santo Antônio tem muitos médicos, mas que faltam médicos no setor público”, salientou.
Mais um hospital
Para os dois pré–candidatos do partido que hoje governa o País, há uma série de recursos a serem requisitados para conseguir melhorias que até então, não passavam de sonhos. “Temos a Itaipu Invest, que com um projeto bem feito e realista, constrói um novo hospital em Santo Antônio da Platina, na forma público/privado”, comentaram.
“Também já intermediei a construção de um conjunto habitacional de 50 casas para Santo Antônio da Platina. A documentação está nas mãos do prefeito José da Silva Coelho Neto, o Zezão.
De PT para PT
Ainda sobre caminhos a serem percorridos, Valter, que há anos trabalha como assessor parlamentar de deputados do PT, (André- Vargas, Zeca Dirceu, entre outros), conhece bem tudo o que tramita nos corredores de Brasília. “Há um projeto sobre proteína suína que vai gerar muitos empregos. Estaremos atentos nesse segmento também”, disse.
O Parque Ecológico José Ritti Filho
O sonho do ex-prefeito José Ritti Filho contaminou os pré-candidatos do PT. Segundo eles, o Parque será construído com tudo o que é necessário para oferecer lazer aos moradores, mas que também servirá como uma espécie de drenagem para as águas das chuvas. “Serão construídos ao longo do Ribeirão Boi Pintado, várias contenções de cheias, que acabará com o problema das enchentes crônicas em certos locais em Santo Antônio da Platina
Segurança de primeira
Santo Antônio, segundo os dois pré-candidatos, terá uma guarda municipal armada e terá câmeras de vigilância em diversos pontos da cidade, com monitoramento em tempo real.
O Povoado da Platina e o Distrito Monte Real estão em todas as contas de ambos petistas. Desde a questão de segurança pública até na área da Saúde de transporte gratuito.
Quem são eles
Se alguém parar para escutar os planos desses dois petistas encorajados a assumirem uma administração municipal, passa o dia todo e ainda não fica sabendo de tudo.
Mas quem é o Valter Antônio Pereira, o Valtinho do PT. De onde ele veio e como chegou aqui?
Valter tem 68 anos, é nascido em Rancharia, Estado de São Paulo. Chegou ao Paraná em 1982, é casado e tem cinco filhos.
Se apaixonou por Santo Antônio da Platina quando o partido resolveu lançar a médica Maria Ana como candidata a prefeita e o enviou para o município para auxiliá-la nas questões políticas. Com a vinda frequente de Curitiba para Santo Antônio, Valter começou a gostar da cidade mais do que esperava. E foi ficando. Na última eleição, foi candidato também. “Acho que posso ajudar Santo Antônio muito mais do que as pessoas imaginam. Eu e o DR. Claudio somos do partido que está no governo. Tudo o que houver de melhor, lutaremos para trazer para cá”, concluiu.

Difícil encontrar uma criança que não tenha nascido pelas mãos desse médico, de 72 anos, casado, pai de três filhos e avô de sete netos. “Já perdi as contas do número de cirurgias. O que me importa e sempre me importou é que os pacientes sejam tratados com dignidade.Vim de uma família muito pobre. meu pai era de Curitiba e eu nasci em Serra de São Luís. Cheguei em Santo Antônio aos seis meses de idade. Para fazer o vestibular precisei da ajuda financeira de um amigo. Cheguei a ser presidente eleito do diretório acadêmico da minha faculdade”, conta feliz da vida.
Convenção- A convenção da coligação PT, PC do B e PV acontece neste sábado, somente para os envolvidos. Ao todo, são 14 pré-candidatos a vereador.
Após a liberação da campanha eleitoral, que será dia 16 de agosto, Valtinho e Dr Claudio pretendem fazer um evento de lançamento da campanha, mas ainda não têm dia nem horário confirmados.
